Rigging
Don’t leave your rigging to chance, leave it to RASE.
Arguably one of the most important elements of any large event, rigging is the backbone to all the technical services. From flying, to ground supported, and even bespoke designed installations, rigging systems must be deployed with care and attention, as people’s lives often depend on it.
With this in mind, we therefore stock only the best in rigging equipment and ensure it is serviced, inspected and repaired to the highest standards by qualified individuals. We stock a whole host of rigging equipment to ensure any design challenge can be met, including box and tri truss, chain blocks and motors, soft steels, shackles and fixings.
Meticulous planning & perfect execution
Design is the first important step in rigging, with CAD being a very powerful tool to get designs onto paper. We have a multitude of software and the knowledge to create vivid representations of final setups, and the knowledge to see what will and won’t work.
RASE’s rigging department works hand in hand with the staging team when deploying temporary demountable structures such as stage roof canopies. All our roof structures are complete with full structural calculations and wind certification outlining strict usage conditions. We use the latest technology in levelling equipment to ensure any floor standing structure is deployed level, secure, and safe.
Hanging equipment, known as flying, is a task not undertaken lightly. Careful consideration needs to go into how much the equipment weighs, what capacity the rigging points offer, and how best to distribute weight when using more than one rigging point. We ensure we’re hanging equipment in the safest manor possible using the manufactures guidelines. Accessing rigging points, and working on the top of large ground supported truss structures takes skill, hard work and nerves of steel. We’re well versed with working at height and we ensure only the best of the best climb to the skies to deploy rigging equipment and access installed AV systems.
